Fantastic 4

So I went to see "Fantastic 4" tonight in the Cinerama Dome on Sunset Blvd.

It's a pretty cool theater, plus it's pretty famous. "The deeply curved (126 degree) screen has been replaced to its original size and shape – all 32 by 86 feet of it."

As for the movie...it was pretty good. I wasn't really a huge fan of the comic though, so that might have had something to do with it. It was a fun movie, but it's not Spider-man or Batman. Comic book movies are hard to judge though, well the first ones that is. There is so much time that is spent on the origin of the powers, or whatever, that there isn't that much time left for the action. The sequels are usually better. Even though I didn't like "Hulk", I am sure that a sequel would be pretty good.

  • Lah-dee-freakin-dah! Boy, what an icy critic! You shouldn't hem and haw about a movie review! Give some detail! Jeez! did it suck or not?

  • Yes. It was a good movie. If you are a fan of the comic, it would probably better. Even if you don't know the comic, it will still be good.

  • I felt the same way about "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." By the time they had their team together, there was only enough time for one fight, which seemed to last about 3 minutes.
