War of the Worlds

I saw "War of the Worlds" tonight at Grauman's Chinese Theater. This was the first time I saw a movie there when it was filled. There were more then 1,000 people in there. It was a little different then watching it at AMC in Greenwood. I thought it was a good movie. It is hard to tell if it is the best movie I've seen this summer. This summer included "Star Wars", and of course, "Star Wars" is "Star Wars." There was also a new Batman movie, and of course, "Batman" is "Batman." This is a really good movie though.

  • TOm Cruise isn't fooling anyone. Like that yuppie scum would ever be a warrior looking scruff-mong.

Do you actually think his acting is worth 2 pennies? He decimated Born on the 4th of July... just killed it with his god-awful acting. I knew as a viewer that he wasn't a vet. When I know I am watching someone act, it ruins it. Tom Cruise, a highly paid trash can, could respect the millions of people who throw their money away at the box office, and learn how to act.
